About the Cultural The Cultural and Creative Industries Development Office was establish in June 2024. Formerly
known as “Create Hong Kong”, it is an office under the country email list Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government responsible for providing onestop services and
support to the cultural and creative industries. It is committ to creating a favorable environment for
Hong Kong and promoting the industrialization development of the arts, culture and creative
industries. The current strategic focus is to cultivate talents and promote the development of startups,
expand markets, promote more crosssector and crosscultural and artistic collaborations, promote the
industrialization of the cultural, artistic and creative industries, and promote Hong Kong to become
Asia’s creative capital. It also aims to create a creative atmosphere in society and implement Hong
Kong’s positioning as a center for cultural and artistic exchanges between China and foreign countries under the country’s 14th FiveYear Plan.
