Need to scroll on a mobile device? You won’t get into Google

A big pitfall for entrepreneurs in general is to invest a lot of time in using social media, without achieving the right result. I see it regularly, even with large professional companies. They post the most extensive messages on Facebook, for example, but have less than 100 followers. These companies often do not realize that not all followers see the messages. In fact, without advertising, hardly anyone will see it. A waste of valuable time. I have created a checklist especially for these entrepreneurs. This offers the right tools to at least create a good foundation.

1. A smartphone-friendly website

Fact is that almost every potential guest has a smartphone with them. Second fact is that since  oman phone number library the beginning of 2015 more searches are done on mobile devices than on normal computers. Third fact is that there are only a few hospitality companies with a website that is optimally suited for smartphones.

During my workshops I always ask who has a smartphone-friendly website. A few fingers go up. When I look at those websites, they often turn out not to be that mobile-friendly. Of course it is already very nice if a website adapts to the small screen of the phone ( responsive clean email design ), but often the letters become too small. If it is still possible to zoom or scroll horizontally, then it is not good. Google itself assesses whether a mobile version of a website meets the requirements. If that is not the case, Google does not show the result.

For a search suitable for smartphones, ‘for mobile’ is added

Let’s say you have a Greek restaurant in a prime location in a big city. Peop 5 seo tips to become an organic powerhouse le walking through the city and craving Greek food will google ‘Greek restaurant’. Since they are doing this on their smartphones, Google already takes the location into account. Still, the site is not found because the site is not suitable for smartphones.

Are you curious whether your website meets Google’sNeed to scroll on a requirements? It is very easy to test. Search for your own company on your own smartphone. If Google recognizes the site as a mobile site, it will say ‘For mobile’. If Google labels the website as smartphone-friendly, it does not mean that it will appear first in the results. Search engine optimization is needed for that.

2. Relevance
